As a church family, we would like to extend an invitation to join our Christian fellowship. An invitation to join the church is given at every worship service. There are cards in the pews to fill out and bring forward during the singing of the last hymn*. Our Pastor will introduce you to the congregation and ask you to promise your faithfulness to Christ and to this local congregation.

Ways to join JUMC:

• Transfer membership from another UMC 
• Vow of membership from another denomination (if you have been baptized in another Christian denomination, that baptism is embraced by our denomination. "...one Lord, one faith, one baptism..." (Ephesians 4:5)
• Profession of faith in Jesus Christ

*You may also may join privately by speaking with a pastor after worship or by making an appointment.
